Barbara Dallia
"The Creator"
At the office, Barb is fondly known as “The Creator.” After all, her influence set Show Department’s wheels in motion nearly 30 years ago. It was Barb who first worked in the event industry and suggested to her teenage son (Lee) that he take a summer job with her employer. That job sparked his entrepreneurial spirit and Lee joined forces with his brother, Jeff. Together they learned the business from the ground up to establish their own company. During the early days at Show Department, Barb handled all the bookkeeping needs. With amusement, she remembers operating a global staging business without cell phones or e-mail. Today Barb balances her time at the office, with some well-deserved recreation time. Barb loves to play golf, ride her bike, and has traveled throughout Asia, Scandinavia, and numerous countries in Europe. Next up — Ireland!
