Bill Martin
Warehouse Manager
Bill’s background is in theatre and technical management. He began his career working as a lighting operator for the acclaimed Goodspeed Opera House in East Haddam, CT. Eventually he began working on touring shows — first with the Big Apple Circus as an electrician, rigger, and spot operator. He then spent 5 years with Disney on Ice as head electrician, head rigger, and pyro tech. Today, Bill handles day-to-day logistics of Show Department’s shop, as well as rigging, power, and lighting prep on show site. His career spans 21 countries on five continents. Bill is a massive hockey fan with a collection of hockey memorabilia. He also collects swords, loves to fence, and as a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, he enjoys re-creating Late Period medieval life — think musketeers and pirates. Each August he spends a week at a national SCA event with about 10,000 attendees.
