Chad Lussier
Lighting Designer
Originally from Milwaukee, Chad is trained in theatrical lighting and set design. Initially, he worked at Illinois’ largest summer theater festival, Festival 56 in Princeton, and at the Wilson Center in Milwaukee. But when Chad decided to specialize in lighting, he made the move to Chicago to pursue more opportunities. Today, at Show Department, he is involved from the start of a project—creating technical concept drawings during the development phase, and handling the lighting designs on show site for all live events. Chad is a lifelong Brewers and Packers fan—after all, his grandpa used to work in the front office at County Stadium. He has developed a growing interest in photography, has two adopted dogs, and humbly describes himself as a “pretty decent bowler” who once shot 16 consecutive strikes.
